You can see Old Mill Pond from the street, just beyond our house.

It peeks out between the trees, inviting, tantalizing, as a glimpse of nature often is.

This is much of the shoreline that we enjoy. We often sit out there on the love seat at night, listening to peepers and bull frogs, and the nearby waterfall.

Autumn has its own special beauty, stark and cold. The air becomes incredibly fresh, and sunlight is always welcome.

Rays of sunlight are often caught in the rising mist.

Ripples on the pond can be mesmerizing. This is the beach area, where we go swimming in the summer.

Canoeing home from across the pond.

Excellant photo of shade garden taken by Bob McDougall.
