The original logo was scanned from a newsletter. The background was expanded and details erased. The feet and one side of the boy were then "painted" in. Filters and special affects created the sunset and
3 dimensional look of the figures.

Original picture was very dark without much detail or color.

Taking away shadow and bringing out detail.

Also very dark due to light source behind the subjects.

This was not only very dark, the W.P.A. engraving was vandalized
with paint scribbles and needed to be cleaned up.

The original was taken from a previous web site. Enlarging it caused degradations which were countered through filters and paint tools.
Lighting effects were added to accent a single star.
